The seed was planted in 2004 – by Principal Nutritionist, Coco Frey.  Over the years, Eat The Truth® has evolved from an online nutrition news source to a complete food and nutrition education and communication company on a mission to help people understand how to “eat with an open mind” with real nutrition through real food for real lives.

In 05, we introduced in-home health and worksite wellness programs.  In 07, we added food companies as clientele and became immersed in the DFW community.  Healthy cooking classes became a part of a regular schedule in 08.  09 brought continually bookings for speaking engagements and food service providers creating healthy menus.  Throughout 2010, we had fun doing ideation and working with Research and Development within the food systems industry.  Also, the online communication expanded and we now reach many people via many media sources.

2011- Taking a bite out of healthy eating!  Our business goals are to continue to provide speaking engagements and consulting business to business – with an emphasis on healthier recipes, menus, and food product development.  As well as spreading the Nutrition Buzz with our blog, twitter, facebook, and linked-in.

In January 2012, change and growth occurred.  We relocated to Boca Raton, Florida with clientele still in Texas, Colorado, California, and New Mexico.  In South Florida, we are currently gaining strategic partners within the food system to feature brands, products, and chefs at events, festivals, and other media outlets.

The future is NOW. Eat The Truth® continues to grow and specialize in all food, nutrition, and health information – with a hands-on, global outreach, within the media.

We get to the root of food. We provide consumers the TRUTH about food.  What are food fads, what’s fiction, or even fake?  What is science proven, evidence based, or research conducted?  What is media glamorized?  And, what are the food facts – the truth about foods?

It takes a COMMUNITY to raise a healthy child. Thus, we have a variety of working partnerships within the wellness arena to include a list of Registered Dietitians, Personal Trainers, Medical and Health Professionals, Government Entities, Non-profit Associations, Food Companies, Chefs, and Farmers.

With dedicated leadership in the food and nutrition industry, Eat The Truth® is valued by colleagues, peers, and clients at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Parkland Health and Hospital System, UT Southwestern, Argi-Life, Frito-Lay/Quaker, Food Collective Inc., Breville, Sur la Table, Origins Cosmetics, Healthy Minibar, NutriServices Inc., North Texas Food Bank, North Texas/Dallas Gluten Intolerance Support Groups, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, Community Health Educators Coalition, Dallas Area Coalition to Prevent Childhood Obesity and many individuals, families, and businesses throughout the DFW community and Southwest region.

Growth is expected. Eat The Truth® will continue to evolve, with changing consumer demand, the recognition that food provides the building blocks for the health of Americans, and ever-changing technology.   We will thrive in a conducive, healthy environment!
